About Jijamata College of Pharmacy (D. Pharm)
College of Pharmacy is situated in the Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Campus, Sarati, Indapur, to promote the noble cause of education, it was founded by Hon’ble Mr. Appasaheb Nanaso Jagdale in 2018 and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi and government of Maharashtra. The college is affiliated to Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) Mumbai. The College has symbolized excellence in quality education for the last two years. It was established with well defined objective to bring about all round development of students & to create technically skilled manpower in the various fields. The college has not only been imparting education but also inculcating moral, ethical and social values into the students which is enlightens their future in the professional, personal and social sphere.
Every achievement and endeavor of the college is consistently prompted by the dedicated visionary and passion of Hon’ble Mr. Appasaheb Nanaso Jagdale. We understand that in such era of rapid changes the only uncertainty is certainty. Therefore, Pharmacy education institutions, Universities, Govt, regulatory bodies (AICTE, and DTE of M.S.) with the partnerships of Pharmaceutical and healthcare industries must analyze and understand the situation and work together with new attitude, vision and destiny for evolving the state-of-the-art of Pharmacy education in India. This would require a well-designed curriculum and syllabus, resource identification, faculty development and student development.
The Pharmaceutical industries are already driven to adopt new corporate strategies renewed management culture and systems, application of innovative technologies, intellectual related activities like Contract Clinical and development research, IPR, horizontal and vertical technology transfer.
The College has been focusing on producing highly qualified professional individuals through systematic academic program on basic Pharmaceutical science. Tried to provide the services that are needed for the development of the national scientific technology in area related to Pharmaceutical sciences. Also, in the area of research, the college is shortly making a venture for excellent research facilities.
Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Sarati (JSPM’S), was established in the year 2000 by Mr. Appasaheb Nanaso Jagdale and others, with an objective of providing education to the economically, educationally and socially weaker sections of the society. It is an educational society registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860 and also a Public Trust registered under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950.
The Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal is one of the oldest educational organizations in Indapur & has done pioneering work in the field of education. Within a span of 19 years the Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Sarati from a humble beginning schools has been transformed into an excellent educational complex of higher, technical and professional academic institutions in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Science, Education, Pharmacy.
The progress and development made by Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has been duly lauded and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. The Jijamata Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has become a source of inspiration and role model for many educational institutions in Maharashtra.
The campus with its scenic beauty provides a peaceful environment conducive to study for the student. The campus is equipped with modern library and reading room, laboratory and classrooms. All the institutes are connected through Telephony for faster and better communication. The campus motto has always been to provide the students with the best facilities possible.
The Society has made tremendous progress in the field of academics, sports, and extra curricular activities. The infrastructure with beautiful buildings, well laid internal roads, picturesque landscape, well equipped laboratories, libraries with computers, Sports Complex, Musical room and a well-Known play area. Students take maximum advantage of these facilities and have shown results by participating in the State and National level competitions and bringing laurels to their respective colleges & institutions. The moral and value education enhances the personality of our students and develops self-confidence, self respect and a positive attitude towards life.
